As of July 15, 2010, Innocence Matters secured a 501(c)(3) status.

So now you have the added advantage to write off your support of our efforts
to free Troy Davis by making a contribution to the
Amicus Fund for Troy Davis.

Why donate now?  After all, he might win!  And he certainly should. But, will he?

But, more importantly, win or lose this case is very likely to go back to the SCOTUS. 

So we still have a lot of work to do.

Remember, not every SCOTUS justice expressed unbridled concern, let alone passion,  for
Troy's innocence.  Scalia and Thomas thought an evidentiary hearing was a complete waste of time and that Troy should be executed last year.  Roberts, Alito, and Kennedy remained silent.
